Being disabled means we need a little more help doing normal, every day things. It doesn’t hurt to ask for a little help, even when we believe that we can take care of it on our own. But sometimes when we do ask for assistance, people turn a blind eye to our pleas, and we’re stuck in a situation we can’t get out of.
But that’s why assistance dogs and therapy animals provide better care than any human being. Not only do they stick by our sides through thick and thin, they’re able to know exactly what we need in any given situation. Griffin, the dog, is no different. He knows how to do many of the tasks around the home, including taking care of his owner.
