Hit with a hammer
This incident came on the surface in January, 2015 when this pit bull named Kiah was seen wandering around Texas with a bloodied head. It was a painful sight as it was clear that someone had hit the dog with a hammer and left her to die. So she was taken to Kirby Animal Shelter so she was given immediate medical attention and extensive vet care so she made a quick recovery. She has such a loving nature that she won the hearts of everyone she met.
Finding a forever home
The suffering for Kiah hadn’t ended just yet because she was facing a lot of troubles in finding a forever home. It was because of the stigma attached with this breed that they are vicious and dangerous. However, Kiah got lucky as she was found by Brad Croft who trains dogs for law enforcement and he often searches for abandoned dogs to train them to make them military dogs. Brad saw something special in Kiah and is determined to take a chance on her and her life is going to be turned around.
