Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center is located near a small town of Divide, CO. It was originally founded in 1993 as the Wolf-Hybrid Rescue Center in Lake George, CO. They give guided educational tours and programs that focus on dispelling myths about wolves and wild canids and helping people to appreciate the roles wolves play in their ecosystems. The center is home to rescued wolves who are unable to live in the wild.
The wolves in the center are unlike many wild ones. You won’t believe how loving and affectionate these pups are! In the video below, you’ll see one of the wolves, Kekoa, with staff member Danielle. He is so gentle and kind and just wants to be pet and loved. He even gives Danielle kisses! What a gorgeous animal Kekoa is!
